We support qualified and expert business owners to open and operate an affiliated branch of their existing non-Canadian business anywhere in Canada. Intra-Company Transferees (ICT) is intended to allow international companies to transfer executives, managers, and skilled employees to create or develop their Canadian affiliates, branches, or subsidiaries. As with other options under the IMP, the ICT’s aim is to bring significant economic benefit by increasing the effectiveness and competitiveness of the Canadian business(es).

In this case, significance can be defined as advancing a Canadian industry, general economic support for Canada, increased health, and well-being for Canadians, etc.
We assist foreign nationals who are looking to get a significant work permit in Canada to complete their business plan and portfolio to qualify under this program.
These applicants must demonstrate to the Canadian government that the work they will do will have a significant economic, social, or cultural benefit to Canada. The applicant will need to show they have a record of distinction in their field.
The LMIA requirement can be waived under this program, and based on the value that these expert applicants add to the Canadian economy.
